Pico PSU inside of Amiga 1000

Good Afternoon everyone, hope all is well.

I just received an Amiga 1000 but the power supply is shot and I ahve been looking into the Pico option.

I purchased a 'Original/Big box ATX adapter' I found at:

But I'm not sure what else I am going to need.

I have a band new PC ATX power supply, do I just plug the 'Original/Big box ATX' into the ATX power supplu and then wire the power harness from the old a100 power that plugs into the MB?

Has anyone ever done this before and have any picts or thoughts?
I am very excited to get my first A1000 and looking forward to getting it powered on!

When you say the power supply is shot, what is wrong with it? I coaxed mine back to functionality with a recap.

The fan seems to be shot - it spins at like 50 rpms.

I did some googling and it looked like the fans were crazy prices and they wern't event the same as they dont seem to amke them.
126LH is the fan.
I have included picts.
Maybe I can just replace the fan?
Any suggestions on a fan replacement would be good.
I'm not sure how to use an electric tester thing and I worry about death.
I hear the capicators can hold a charge and such and I enjoy life too much to mess with them much.
I'll take suggestions on basic things and make minor mods such as soldering and replacing fans and such but I worry about anything more electricial.
I have included some picts, take a look and let me know your thoguhts.
I order some parts and we will see.

I've replaced the fan on a couple of A1000s. I don't quite remember if I found/used exactly the same Etri branded fan, but certainly fans in that size (80x80x38mm I think?) and voltage rating weren't impossible to find. You may need to replace the connector, or splice in the old cable. Check Mouser, Farnell, Digikey or any of the usual parts suppliers depending on your location.
