marble madness

is it possible, that marble madness can't be emulated on winuae?
i'm totally unable to find a working adf, not in the zone or planet emulation or emuparadise...
some adfs boot into workbench. but then the emulation freezes, if i try to run the game.
others don't boot. if i insert the adf on a running workbench and try to run the game, freeze.

This .ADF definitely works:

... Marble Madness (1986)(Electronic Arts).adf [CRC: 9CC55732]

Can't check at the moment as not at home but from memeory you need to use a KS 1.2 ROM.

Edit: Nope scrap that, just tested with a KS 1.3 ROM and also worked without issue.

GameBase Amiga uses the same version as DamienD has stated. It doesn't even need a fancy config, typical a500 settings should be fine

You can see the crc in WinRar, pretty sure you can do the same with 7z or winzip as well.

Yes, it was an early release, basically to coincide with the Amiga introduction to show it off.

Even the original arcade version only has 6 levels so it's a true port

I always remember nipping the skin on my hands when I tried to do that in the arcades.

I didn't find the disk but here's the folder from where you should be able to run the game. marblemadness_agahd.lha

Hi. I'm trying this on FS-UAE (A1000 K1.2 config) on lubuntu both:
Marble Madness (1986)(Electronic Arts).zip
Marble Madness (1986)(Electronic Arts)%5Bcr ECA%5D%5Bh Wizards%5D.zip

But sometimes the marble goes the opposite way of the mouse direction. I know on the later levels this happens because of some of the physics on the map, but it shouldn't happen on the second level?!?!
It will do this at the start for 5 seconds, then later on for another 5 seconds. Maybe I'm just terrible at the game

Thanks

I've never experienced that.

Using WinUAE, OCS or ECS / KS 1.3 / 512KB Chip & 512KB Fast RAM and the .IPF.
