wanting to buy Blitz Basic 2

I gave my copy of Blitz Basic 2 away a few years ago, and now I have a hankering to try and get into it. I know there are various downloads available, but I'm after a boxed copy to buy, if anybody can help?

Cheers.

But you want to stay Old School, right?

Thanks, but yeah. It's not entirely rational, but I want to buy a boxed copy and start from there, at least initially. :-)

Not entirely helping your irrational needs, but this project might be worth watching - https://ubb.plus/

I recall reading that they may try and get their updated manual printed, which is one step closer to a boxed version I suppose.

AmiBay might be an easier place to find a real boxed copy....

Thanks Twiggy, I saw this on Youtube and it remains an option. In fact, if I'm able to find an original, I'll probably look into this too.

Yes, I tried a search on Amibay, but I had to register first. I did that but I think I must have misread the wonky text bot-check, because my registration failed. I emailed the help link, but have not heard back. :-/

Update, got past the wonky text and did a search. Nothing for now.

Got mine from EBay.

And I think it is completely rational to want a boxed copy especially as you then have a manual to work with (manuals on electronic devices just don't work as well).

If you can - go for the second manual - blue ring binder. Not only is it much more up to date especially with 'new' display library but the ring binder makes it much easier to flip through.

Although I did like the big reference manual that I had with the original BB2. I'm sure mine is in the loft somewhere - found the small white manual but have never been able to locate the reference manual.

I would offer you my original manual but it go damaged over time and although all the pages are there - it looks like the cover and inlay have lost an argument with a dog!

Oh, now you're just teasing me! :-) If it functions as a manual I would happily pay you for it. I love my battered Amiga game boxes just as much as the ones time has been kinder to.

You'd be most welcome to it if you don't find anything better!

Just noticed the contents are mutilated too - I might try and effect a small repair!

If you're still after this I'm almost certain I have a complete boxed copy (the ringbinder version) you'd be welcome to have. I'll need a few days to dig it out, and maybe a reminder or two if i forget!
