i'm just sick to not yet return to the amiga os like.
Is there any amiga os clone (aros, amigaos4, etc) which have flash support ?

Not really. There are some really old incomplete implementations.

But to be honest flash has had its day. Its far resource hungry to be usable.

Why would you care for something Adobe themselves are starting to phase off? As well as it eats up a whole load of processor for no good reason.

MorphOS and its web browser work flawlessly wiht youtube as a lot of youtube now in html5

Flash is going to be dead in the water in another few years, hopefully. The huge switch to mobile platforms is killing Flash, slowly but surely.

Then the Amiga will have done the right thing in not ever supporting it

I've missed this thread too, but MorphOS's Odyssey Web Browser has had swfdec based plugin for flash for ages (and even some early npflash plugin before it), although it isn't too compatible and it's quite random when it works and when not.

HTML5 support has been good always and many flash requiring sites are possible to get work in the HTML5 mode if you spoof the browser as iPad for example. Sites have flashless versions for these well known platforms which don't support flash. OWB has the per site preferences where you can define which URLs will get automatic spoofing. I've used it in several video sites.. like for example to get Facebook videos to work. There have also been internal scripts for OWB to convert sites like YouTube and Dailymotion from Flash video to HTML5 video on the fly.

Nowadays many sites are defaulting to HTML5 and you don't need the mentioned scripts anymore. YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook videos etc work pretty much out of the box now. Only script which is useful is a fullscreen fix script, which makes videos to use overlay function on fullscreen mode, which takes a lot off from CPU load and videos play very fluently with it.

I haven't used OS4 browsers, but yeah, Odyssey on OS4 should be pretty much on par with MorphOS version in that regard, because it's an port from MorphOS version. Hmm.. although it seems that it's one version older, but still. In any case these Webkit based browsers we've had since the last decade have been really good with HTML5 and have even scored better on HTML5 tests than many mainstream browsers like Firefox etc.

I haven't tried any games on FB, so I don't know if they've moved from Flash to HTML5 yet. But many HTML5 games elsewhere on web do work.

But the little I use FB for (posts, priv messages, videos) it's been working fine with Odyssey Web Browser on MorphOS.

And if you're not familiar with MorphOS (I wouldn't be surprised if you only follow this site, which should win a mis-information award regarding the NG systems), because you only talk about OS4 and AROS, MorphOS is one of these next generation Amiga systems and basically quite similar with OS4 with its basics. Both MorphOS and OS4 are binary compatible with old Amiga software in exactly the same way. Little differences with the new features though. OS4 tries to stick with plain oldish WB features, while MorphOS tries to bring more modern DOpus Magellanish features on the desktop. Both have roots on legacy software from Amiga times (AHI, RTG software, GUI toolkits, filesystems, printing, networking, same OS structure with AmigaOS, compatible with old libraries etc). I'd say that AROS is the most distant relative to the old AmigaOS, because it's not a binary compatible and many other parts are totally rewritten.

I think that needs a lot of clarifying for anyone new to AROS.

The only difference is that AROS on x86 lacks a transparent 680x0 emulator so 68k apps need to be recompiled to run. AROS on 68k is binary-compatible and in fact is the only one that runs on a classic Amiga without a PPC accelerator. AROS is no more rewritten than MorphOS - they're both clean-room implementations. Even OS4 has many rewritten pieces.

This is not to criticise any other platform or say "AROS is best" but I don't think it's fair to call it the most distant relative.
