Popular Amiga games that were ported over to consoles?

Been getting into Amiga emulation again lately and remembered enjoying some classics like Dungeon Master, etc.

I remember seeing some games ported over to either the Genesis, the Snes or both, like Dungeon Master and Jaguar XJ22. What are some other good and popular Amiga games that were ported over to either the Genesis, snes, or (insert xxx console here)? And were any of them better than their Amiga counterparts?

Wow big thanks for those links! Very helpful. They even released Drakken for the snes! LOL crazy!

Too bad about no Secret of Monkey Island for either console.

Yeah I guess you have a point there. Out of curiosity, where any of the Lucafilm games like Monkey Island, Indy, etc ported over to PC MS-DOS?

I'm quite sure they were written for MS-DOS first and then ported to the Amiga.

I'm not so sure, not Monkey Island atleast. I think i read that the characters name was taken from the filename when they've saved a brush in DPaint, guy.brush

That's true but it says nothing about the platform since there's DPaint for MS-Dos as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deluxe_...S-DOS_versions

One thing is for sure: Michael Land did the music for Monkey Island MS-Dos way before Chris Hülsbeck did the Amiga version.
