MV 1200 Scandoubler/flickerfixer repairs

Hi chaps,
I have the above named external scandoubler/flickerfixer and I want to use it with a Dell 14" flat screen monitor.However the monitor refuses to display and I can only put it down to my MV1200 being broken,bust,ill,knackered,petulant..... or something.I havent got a VGA CRT monitor any more and my old CM8833-II needs a replacement cable (it's been in the loft for a number of years) so I am stuck.It's a TV display until I can get the flat screen up and running and I am assuming it's the MV1200 that's the problem.Does anyone out there know of a reputable company that repairs Amiga gear.Thanks in advance

Does your LCD support 50Hz Frame rate... Try using the setup by putting the Miggy into 60Hz mode (NTSC).
CRT Monitors were quite happy to sync down but not most TFT's I'm afraid
Your MV1200 maybe OK

Hi Thecorfiot,
My father passed away recently and it was his old monitor I was trying to use.A bit of nostalgia and all that.Thank you for confirming my suspicions about compatibility but it was worth a try.I shall keep the monitor but it will have to remain unused and sit in a corner of my room.Gone but not forgotten as it were
