Well my xbox360 hasn't got much use since the holidays its been Amiga all the way. Been playing Paradroid90 alot; i forgot how tricky it can be. In fact the Atari ST version was loads more forgiving. but i just love this game. and I am determined to finish it one day. Then I have been playing AGA Jetstrike, a great game and another one I never got to finish first time i owned it. then its gonna be a Syndicate and Special Forces

I playred some Amiga arcades yesterday night. I have to admit I prefer adf games than whdload... even 'cause there are trainers on adf versions! :P

After completing Uncharted for the third time (trophies), I bought and downloaded Secret of Mana from Virtual Console (Wii), and playing it for the first time. I'm not a big fan of the music though (it's the way it sounds I don't like though, the composition itself is... listenable - except the dwarf cave music). Other than that, it's a good game.

Mirror's Edge
(the motto of this game should be "entering a woman's body has never been so much fun" )

If you loved running as Sonic, ever had high-anxiety in Jumping Flash, enjoyed the movie Yamakasi (don't you dare say that to a polish girl named Kate ), or even did some Le Parkour jumping&running by yourself - this game is for you.

We are Faith in this game a cute little asian-looking nice girl who's A Runner - the mailman of the future
A Runner has a special ability that allows him to "see the path" (red color on some objects) and ignore the background (white color of everything in the background) which does a great job in terms of gameplay.
It may be pretty straight-forward at first, very linear, but there's a great number of places where you feel free.
Not many different sub-paths, but the fastest path is usually the toughest.

The Story looks naive, yet another cheap detective story about someone getting killed, someone getting blamed and the other one trying to solve it... hope it improves with time.

The graphx are nice and smooth. Great use of white, blue, red and orange. The bloom effect is too much in places, ruins your view sometimes...

The intro, music, sounds and movies are pro - well, that's an EA game for you!
I don't quite like the cartoony movies...

Love the ambient/easy listening with a bit of drum&bass music style.

The bad thing is, this is a conversion.
We get a dodgy steering and linear paths so the poor teenage console players wouldn't get lost (like me in Serious Sam games, lol).
After the training run I still don't quite understand how to run on a wall and jump high off it, but methinks when this special ability will be needed I'll be skillful enough.

Been playing... Diablo 2: Lord Of destruction together with TCD!

And now a shameless plug for all those that avoid the off-topic forums, you can join in the fun if you want. Visit here:

We play lan games through Hamachi, so no battle.net connection, meaning no original copy is needed either. Also we play version 1.09, the best version of the game ever before they started to nerf each and every character into oblivion.

End of advertisement

edit: LOL, how do you like that! Posting at the same time :s

my best mate when we were kids never left the house for a month to play football manager. His mum and dad went to work before he was meant to leave for school. they only found out when the school wrote them a letter. they grounded him for two weeks, so he stayed at home playing the game even more

I played the game since it came out. I have all of them. It's one of few I'll buy with no hesitation.

Played Shadow Dancers on MAME... and played a bit Might & Magic II on WinUAE. Really, I don't like too much Amiga emulation as the save state function does not work very well.

Do you use WinUAE 1.5.3? There was an fix regarding savestates in 1.5.3 and when you had problems with an older version you should really give it a try mate

You played the hd-installed Might & Magic II version? WinUAE savestates works only properly with disk images.
