Masterblaster options screen without mouse?

It has been so long that I forgot. Is it somehow possible to navigate the Masterblaster title screen without a mouse?

How did this ever work? Did we always make choices with the mouse, then unplug it and plug in the joystick to actually play while the game was loading? I don't remember it being such a hassle.

There were two ways: joystick / mouse switch for mouseport 1, or

the game without those options. I remember I had that version and it worked fine.

Thanks for the ideas! I found the solution for me though! Just leave joysticks in both ports, and use RAMIGA+Cursor keys to move the mousepointer using the keyboard! That's how we always did it!

In fact, using this method, I just configured it on the Xbox now for WinUAEX, mapping RAMIGA+Cursor to the respective directions of the right analog stick. It works like a charm!
