Indivision 1200 AGA MK2cr to HDMI question

Hi!

I've successfully installed the MK2cr in my A1200 and it works very well with my DVI supported monitor in all the screen modes I want to use. However for my TVs, I need to use a DVI to HDMI converter. I've got one that is DVI-D single link (see this).

I've got two TVs, one is a 2010 HD Ready Panasonic 42" something, it won't show anything at all from the MK2cr, no matter what I try. The smaller one, a noname 32" full HD LED TV, shows the bootup at 800x600x60Hz and briefly also the 1024x768 HiGFX mode I've configured Workbench to use, but the scren just blanks out after maybe 5 seconds of that.

Now, my question is, is this because the DVI to HDMI converter is only single link, thus not supporting very high resolutions? Wikipedia says single link supports up to 1920x1200x60Hz on single link so I should be in the clear. Or could this be my PSU not giving enough juice? I've got the original A1200 heavy brick model PSU, not sure how many Watts it gives.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for a DVI-I (dual link) to HDMI converter that I ordered on eBay, but I thought I'd ask here while I wait for that one.

And if the new converter shows the same issues and if it's not the PSU's fault, do I need to change stuff in the MK2cr's settings, such as horizontal frequencies or such?

All DVI devices must have 640x480 60Hz mode, all HDMI devices shall support at least 640x480 60Hz (but it can be substituted by 720x480 60Hz or 720x576 50Hz mode).

What video modes are supported by TV is presented to DVI/HDMI source trough EDID - you can read EDID or in PC or for example on PS3.

Thanks. I'll do some research on it.
