Quality control of the 30MHz cards has been finished today, the 25MHz cards will go through the QC procedure tomorrow. We had to build new tools for all the mechanical bits and pieces, write the serial numbers on the cards, I'm currently writing the manual and the first cards will be shipped to resellers tomorrow.

I have just watched my order status at Amigakit:
ACA 1230/56 Accelerator Status: Awaiting Stock 11/23/2010 Next Stock Expected: Monday 20 December, 2010 I was the first to post about it here... The truth is that I taked about one and perhaps and a half hour to buy it, and as I've said I don't have any hurry, as I can wait till the 5 (6 is holiday here) of January. I'm not complaining at all, but just want to take on consideration that there has to be a really great amount of sales of the ACA's, much more as the 1230/56 (I believe) aren't the best selling ones for the post I've seen... Don't think there's really a need for it. The 'backmerge' request was about keeping all the feedback in one thread for the time being and creating a new subforum wouldn't help with that.

If I run
acatune -maprom * in a cli window then reset the amiga, it only shows the purple insert disk screen, and no internal hard drive on the early boot screen. Standard 3.1 install. |

Guys,
I'd suggest NOT to post support cases in this thread, but to go through the established channels for support. We have always refused to give support in public forums for a simple reason: Local records (which we have to keep by law). This is also the reason why I have disabled PMs here (and PMs still come through, could someone check that? I want PMs DISABLED!). The standard procedure for support is to contact your reseller. Please include all information you have about the system (as Oliver requested before): 1. What exact Os revision are you running? Both Kickstart and Workbench. 2. Do you run any system patches on startup? If yes, what patches? 3. What does the ACATune tool say on CLI, if you type acatune -status. Does it recognize the card? 4. Aside from the ACA1230, do you have any other expansions installed in your A1200? 5. How much Ampere does your power supply provide on the +5V rail? We tested all cards with 3A power supplies. 6. Are there any leaked capacitors on your mainboard? Look careful, since it can be easily overlooked. If you don't know what to look for, provide us with a high resolution photo of the mainboard, if possible. Again, the standard procedure to get support for any Individual Computers product is through your reseller. If the result of the support case is of interest to the public, we'll post it here. Amigarobbo, please contact your reseller with the information listed above. Jens |

The setting to (partially) disable PMs would be 'Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators'. If you still get PMs from normal members, I'll contact RCK and ask him to have a look.

@Pavel
We received one package of accelerators this week. We have been sending out ACA 1230/56 this week in the order of when the order was originally placed. We have now run out of accelerators. According to tracking of the second package, DPD will deliver next shipment on Monday - snow permitting. This contains ACA 1230/28 and ACA 1230/56 which we will then test and ship in order. |

With regard to the Amiga 600. Is there a revision of the motherboard that is generally consider better? Like the revisions of the Amiga 1200 or is there no Amiga 600 revision that is actually better.

I'm not sure what revision is best but I have 1.5 here that works fine with Apollo 620, 630 and the A608 so I'd say that a safe bet |

I absolutelly don't care if my ACA arrives before or after Chrismas, I have been waiting for Amiga upgrade for over 15 years so I think few days is not so important. Just to let you not stress yourself too much. You other people - please, be patient. |
