@QUIZASERAQ

I know it can be frustrating if you Pre-order something that seems to be taking forever to appear; but in reality that doesn't mean it is or it isn't a scam. Its good to give support to developers by pre-orders as long as you are genuinely OK waiting years for it to arrive & willing to risk it never appearing otherwise your almost certainly be disappointed (its just reality).

I've been waiting years for another game I pre-ordered (in that case its been explained why & something very good has come out of it). I got a bit fed up myself about that at one stage.

Sure would be nice to have an update from the dev on this. I paid for this over 2 years ago now... website hasn't been updated for 6 months and I even tried emailing him back in January for an update but never got a reply...

Apparently, the game introduction along with a storyline have to be completed before release :

Well I know a little will have been lost in translation as I can't speak Polish but yeah that made for an 'interesting' read!

When the digital download version comes out, I'll have my wallet and my joysticks ready. Meanwhile, I'm doing other cool things with my Amigas Let the lasagne cook the time it needs to become delicious.

I don't understand why people create preorders for things they haven't finished and are uncertain when they will be finished, nor why people buy preorders of things that aren't finished and are uncertain when they will be finished and then complain that they were not delivered.

Am I completely wrong? After reading that thread, it seems like a forum is crowd-making this "intro"? Plus some AI-generated visuals? This is dire.

No. If people pay money before the game is finished they should accept that they risk never getting the finished game. If they aren't okay with that just don't 'pre-order'. It's not rocket science.

Red face

In fact we need to stop paying in PRE-ORDER in the AMIGA world which is always amateur and precarious production. Once the program is finished I will always be the first to support the developers but before it is finished they will never see my money again, I have had two bad experiences and they were enough for me in life to understand...

I don't mind pre-ordering stuff, I know there is a risk but can take it if it helps... Everyone around is doing it out of passion anyway... But I understand why some people don't want to risk some money.

Anyway, in this very case, the game is supposedly almost complete (was in RC at the end of 2023 and the dev. wanted to add some storyline). I'm glad also because, the longer the game takes, the more levels seem to be added -- which is great as it would be a pity if such a big amount of work gave birth to a very short game

Deary me, I thought this game has been released long time ago.

After reading this ppa thread it seems it's another another dumpster fire from my native country though *eyeroll.gif*.

I started to ask pre-payment (partial) for any of my works for owners who's asking my service. IT is in my thinking a gentlemens' agreement on both side to complete what we're dealing. (Delivering the goods ordered and giving the remaining payment when it is done)
Everyone should have to respect others especially if we're on a financial environment.

I preordered too. I have no problem with taking a risk to support a developer. For me it's just a way to show gratitude for the people that work hard for the community.
I do appreciate it when the dev then keeps the "backers" a bit more in the loop of what's going on though
