This video clip might piss you off...

I will show you a video clip from that crime drama show Bones:

[ Show youtube player ]

In this clip, two scientists make references to the Amiga 1200. But there's one massive problem:

All of the information they point out is completely wrong!

I LOL'd so hard at the "6800 CPU" and the "homemade operating system" BS. You can probably tell that they didn't take this scene seriously, and it really shows!

Come to think of it, it would've been really awesome if the 1200 was originally painted in black. That would kick ass.

Yes, I am pissed off.

Even the video with the most famous Amiga guy singing "Only Amiga makes it possible" is not such a BS.

Hilarious clip! 6800 chipset, a1200 in 1987, a doom-like game running off a 5.25 floppy disk. Gotta love it.

Yea, I've seen that before. Totally crap. I think that they need an Amiga lesson.

"primative doom" haha, it looked much better than that!

At least the OS looked like Workbench. Someone there knew a little about the Amiga, they should have spoken up.

ive seen this alot of times.it dident piss me off as such.
if it was a "factual" programme on the other hand.
but anyway its a clip from bones and the whole series is sci/fi related.so i say "hmm ok"

if on the other hand you want to see something that "will" piss you off type in (XBOX360 rrod repair)or(PS3 YLOD repair)and watch some of these so called "experts"bung a penny on there memory chips in there 360 to "FIX IT"
OR watch another "expert" add washers to there ps3 and then use a hair dryer to "FIX IT"

as you can imagine in my case this snip from bones is just a snip from a sci/fi series so its funny.

Couldn't they have spent a few seconds doing some basic research instead of making complete fools of themselves?

Morons.

Anyone seen the Bones episode "The Boy in the Time Capsule" ?

I saw it yesterday and....wow.

An amiga game that's a 1st person shooter in 3D, on one disk, that just happens to work after more then 20 years of being submerged in bodily fluids from a decaying corpse.

I couldn't even get a diskete from 2005 to transfer word files more then 4 times without completely corrupting everything :P

It actually doesn't annoy as much as that horrific black paint job.

You just have to accept that most TV programmes are aimed at the masses who couldn't tell an Amiga from an Atari let alone what CPU and chipset they had or the correct release date.
