HivelyTracker 1.2 for OS4 and OS3.x out now!

HivelyTracker is a tracker program based upon the AHX format created in the mid '90s by Dexter and Pink of Abyss. The format was relatively popular, and many songs were created and used in scene productions and games. AHX was designed to create a very SID-like sound on the Amiga.

Today, version 1.2 for both OS4 and OS3.x was released! You can grab it from the Hively Tracker homepage.

Competition Time

To celebrate the release of HivelyTracker 1.2 for OS4 and OS3.x, IRIS and Up Rough have teamed up with GGS-Data ( http://www.ggsdata.se )to bring you the HivelyTracker music competition.

We are inviting everyone to make a song in HivelyTracker, and enter it into a competition to win a C64-DTV. Members of IRIS and Up Rough will judge the winning entry to receive the prize, which has been kindly donated by GGS-Data.

Then, all the entries will be released in a music disk after the competition has finished.

The full rules are available on the the competition page.

hello,

I have tested this program this morning on my classics with 060 on 800x600x16bit PC and It's anazing and verry great !!! a verry verry good GUI who work in multitasking with the workbench (with vumeters running ans so on). damned !!! :-)

the sound editor is verry good also. this program will be the best one if It's planned to supports others musics format well known because the amiga need a modern protracker and cie who work well on 68k, aone ou morphos on graphic cards (like hively tracker).

please, please, do this program support more mods format. also, a detail but make the program loading his fonts on progdir: also.

keep us this good work and send my good reports to others guys on this project :-)

I like also the colors and the design of the GUI and thinks It's a good start for making a skin of MUI. Can I try ??? (just for the fun in first time).

i think for classic tracking on low config (under 060) the good'old AHX or DigiBoosterPro (32 channels) is better !

Anyway this competition is a good thing to promote this tracker and to see some talented people show their skills !

And thanks to Buzz for making a 68k port of HivelyTracker.

we'll add a new feature for the 68k version, an option to switch off patternscrolling.
that might make it useable.
we'd also need a 68k ASM replayer, fancy doing one Galahad? =) The replayer source is included in the archive.

The tracker also works very well in UAE with AHI and Picasso drivers.
