How to get information on TOSEC dumps?
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to add IPF support to my Catweasel driver for AmigaOS4. So far I've had some success (I booted DOS disks and even Powermonger the other day). I'm currently trying to get Creatures to work as I have the original disks, but somebody overwrote the disks with a cracked version- and I want the original (especially as the cracked version doesn't work either now). I know that Creatures has on-disk copy protection, and I've noticed that disk 1 in particular has an unformatted track on track 0 side 1. When I try and boot the disk it's failing for some reason, and I'm not sure why. Hence I want to know exactly what the copy protection is so I can look at how to make it work. The CAPS information is rather sparse - I'm basically just able to look at the autodoc which doesn't tell me a lot - so I may be missing some important information, like what the timing buffer is. Is there anywhere a database of disks archived for the TOSEC, documenting what protection they have? Or any other information that someone could help with? Thanks for any help anyone can give! |
