Sound pitch bending issue

YEah, I read this thread: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=56704

I am getting pitch changes on music when I use VSYNC. It's a slight pitch bending that happens from time to time.
It's gone when VSync is off.
Auto VSync just plays music at a much higher pitch than intended.

Is this normal or does it have to do with my setup? I tried on two different PCs though, and I seem to be getting similar results, only varying on how often and where the bends happen.

Configuration information missing.. VSync works very differently on non-fastest and fastest possible CPU modes.

"Traditional" VSync can't ever work properly in fastest possible CPU modes and may have issues in normal modes too.

Try latest betas and low latency vsync mode. (It is still WIP but should work much better)

I have an i7-2640M @ 2.80Ghz (x2), 4GB RAM, Intel HD3000 graphics card (one of thsoe shared memory things), Conexant 20672 SmartAudio HD audio hardware, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

It could be that I was using Fastest Possible, but I tried without it too and same happened. Still, Low Latency gives the wrong pitch at music.

I will try the latest beta and let you know!

If you mean "wrong pitch" by 60Hz/50Hz speedup: there is nothing to do, you need 50Hz or 100Hz display. It is the only solution.

Now that you mention it, i did try that on my TV @ 1080P/60Hz. That's probably it!
Will test the pitchbending issues with the beta 15 I just downloaded.
