CFOU! keeps downtime in their install and I respect him but I would like if StingRay or whoever give support to the Hugo Spanish version pleeease!!!! I think it wouldn't be much work because the install is already finished. It's just that it supports the Spanish version, thank you very much!!!

I'm using Firefox and I've never seen any alerts.
I can assure you that there's absolutely nothing dangerous about it, infact it's the number one tracker for TOSEC and MAME stuff.

Thanks , I imagined that so I entered the website in spite of the alert.
By the way, I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 and I receive the alert...

...just a reminder, where is your uncracked version?

your uploaded version is the same as the one, which is already in the zone.
Is this version not cracked - you can pass protection screen?

Hi,

I know this topic was created 3 years ago, but I would love to see this version WHDified; are there any news so far? It would be really appreciated

Hi, I think I just made it.

This is a dirty hack I put together today, using the finnish whdload version and the files on the tosec adfs of the game in spanish with a little touch of hex editing.

The finnish version is the most similar to the spanish one, so I was able to mix them and figure out what files I should keep and what ones to replace.

Note that this is not the installer, is not official and it's just a dirty hack, that does its job, but a hack anyway.

This version, has the same problem the spanish adf version has, when you reach the final stage, if you chose the wrong rope, the game stops and doesn't show you any ending at all, but if you chose the correct one, the game ends, you can see the happy ending animation and it goes back to the title screen.
Is not a problem with the hack, is a problem with the adfs on the TOSEC archive.

If anyone have a good fully working adfs, It would be mi pleasure to complete this hack and make it fully playable even with the bad endings.

On a side note, the man who did the voice acting for Hugo in spanish, is not Saturnino, his name is Pepe Carabias.

If there is any problem with posting the file here, please, delete it, if not... well, here it is at last, a WHDload version for the game in spanish, with the same bug as the adf ones in TOSEC, but fully playable.

Years have passed and I have a couple of questions about the spanish HUGO game, in case someone knows the answers:

-Was there a second game with spanish voices? I clearly remember HUGO on a sidescrolling stage, but I finished this one with friends last week and I didn't see it.

-Did correct IPF/ADF disc images of the spanish version surface? I can not find them, and the version I have is the one that hangs if you chose the wrong pole at the end.

Thanks!
