What did you buy today.

I got myself a Sega Megadrive mini (or Sega Genesis Mini depending on where you live)...

It's an impressive package with a really quality lineup of games, most of the ones you would want on there. I witnessed no emulation slowdowns at all. Good controllers too although it's the three button ones, which is not too great for Streetfighter 2.

There always has to be a "aw man they had to be cheapskates" moment though... they supply a usb cable for the power, but not the actual connector to be able to put it in a wall socket. So you need to use one from your phone or something. Probably everyone will have at least one lying around nowadays.

Space Harrier 2 sucks though. Because I'm really bad at it.

Yesterday i picked up some SNES cartridges from my local shop: Pilotwings, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Mario World.

How's the Trinitron? I was considering the same (21"), deffered because of space considerations and when I wanted to buy it some weeks later, it was gone.

I got the KV-M2151u ,nice bit more modern black TV , picture is great with both Amiga and ps1/ps2 games.
Only downside is that it only has 1 scart socket instead of 2 like my larger TV, just have to buy a scartsplitter.


Very happy with it so far, great little TV , saved a lot of space on my desk

Grabbed a dell u2410 not just because it does 15khz but also the composite input gives me options with my n64 etc.. pictures great and with some small tweaks looks good on my A600

Picked up a BenQ BL702A monitor that works with the Amiga for £10 off fb marketplace.

Also a nice neon Amiga sign that lights up blue for my gaming area.
