Dead keyboard for A4000/CDTV wanted

Anyone got a dead A4000/CDTV/A3000 keyboard spare?

tbh, just the case would do, condition not really important.

(I want to try making molds)

A3000 keyboard is identical, except the colour.

If memory serves, the internals were very similar to A500 keyboards, just with a slightly different shaped backplate.

As a suitable source completely dead A500s might be one option*.

beyond that is a bit of cable, a connector and the casing around the keyboard that are more specific.

*one option most of us do not like the idea of.

My question was more rhetorical but appreciate your answer - will try to fix keys on my A3k KB and eventually if this fail will search for some spare A500 KB.

I think my question is thus far proving rhetorical too

Apparently A1200.net (home of the Amiga 1200 case and KeyCaps) are working on the external keyboard thing too

I'm not prepared to pay 200E for original KB especially that it is usually very far from perfect condition...

Me neither, fairly sure I paid £16 for my CDTV one many years ago...

Wish I hadn't given it away now...
