Is it possible to do a PC -> Amiga floppy transfer with 1.3 kickrom A500 +512kb?

I think the title explains itself and I know there are threads like these in the archives but I don't have a working Workbench so I need a definite answer to this before I start asking people to send me WB + a transfer program that needs 2.03 or X number of memory to even work.

I do have a null modem cable but is it enough? Has anyone done this before?

Pretty please with sugar on top help a guy out!

If you use Amiga Explorer then all you need is a working Workbench 1.2/1.3 floppy.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try if I can get a working set of WB disks.

Hi,

It's also easy enough to build a cut-down WB1.3 bootable disk that includes the necessary stuff for reading/writing PC disks, though memory becomes a bit tight if you only have one floppy drive and have to do everything via the RAM disk...

I made such a disk containing MultiDOS and CLIMate (very early DOpus-like file manager) and it's OK for basic transfer of data.
