Custom CD32 Covers online
A new project is online and will feature custom covers for Amiga CD32 games.
The first cover I have done is for Magic Island CD32 If you have any requests or some custom covers yourself you want to upload on the site, let me know, enjoy Link: customcovers.webhop.org Last edited by TheBoss; 05 April 2007 at 10:08. |

So, hello Custom CD32 Covers online-Thread
At first: My brand new Magic Island CD32 Special Edition is ready and beautifies my Amiga CD-Collection Thanks! It would be cool to see more of these CD-Covers. There are many CD32 and Amiga CD-games that don´t have a Cover or Inlay. And perhaps a printable CD-label, too. Suitable for Lightscribe! |

You are rightviddi, there are a bunch of cd games that didnt have a cd cover like Marvins Marvellous Adventure and Flink comes to my mind.
A CD-label is a very good idea, I have only done a few before, hopefully I have the right tools. Is one needed for Magic Island? |

If you have the time to create one, sure!!
I´ll check my CD-Games and post a list of games without CD-Cover here. Flink has a manual that fit into a CD-Case. So just the Inlay is missing |

Thats a bunch already
Here is my Magic Island CD32 disc art I choose to keep with the style of the rest of the jewelcase cover I did. Hope its fine and usefull Remember to use a cover program (like the one in NERO) to resize the image to fit the cd correctly before you print it. Click for big picture |

Couldn't you just let the image cover the whole CD (except for the actual 1 cm drill hole), instead of blinding out a center area of 3cm diameter. There are different types of printable CD-R on the market. Some of them (Verbatim, TDK) have an Inkjet printable area which covers almost the complete CD surface. It would look better if I could print the whole area, like in the following example: EDIT: picture removed Last edited by tteich; 14 November 2006 at 12:54. |

I was a bit confused on how big the cdhole should be as Im not experinced at cd cover art designs. I just choose 1 that seems to be used alot on the old amiga cds I have. I'll try and fix it later today so its like the picture you show Any chance you might have some cd templates around?
Currently im finishing work on the requested Star Crusader CD32 edition front/back cover, so they will be online on website shortly |

I have printed at least 50 CD-R (only Verbatim type), and had good results with above specifications. It is not a problem if the Inkjet-printer prints an area which is not covered by printable surface (so that ink meets plastics). This ink can be removed easily with a tissue. I unfortunately don't have a template. I make CD prints with an application for Macintosh which came with my Epson printer, and I only have to drag and drop images into a mask, and the program does everything "automagically". Cheers, Torsten |

Hey, great! Looks very good. This one should fit all the printable CD-R media around.

Without reading this thread properly as I have to go to bed, someone was making covers and uploading them somewhere on www.underground-gamer.com FYI.

Nicely done! I look forward to seeing more of these... It always frustrates me how my CD32 collection is all mismatched due to releases that didn't have inserts.
