Ok, I have strange problem.
When I minimize WinUAE, emulation is paused. I've unticked checkbox "Pause emulation", but without effect - emulation is paused. This is since WinUAE 1.5.0, even newest beta has this "bug". This "bug" appears only in fullscreen mode, when I use windowed RTG-mode, emulation is running perfectly. Any suggestions?

Both inactive and minimized always pause emulation. (was already fixed before you reported it )

Next beta is "delayed" because of copper updates.

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_1510b7.zip

Beta 7:

- PCMCIA SRAM can work as a memory expansion now (it was not possible to execute 68K code in emulated SRAM previously..)
- configuration files in subdirectories didn't load if configuration cache was enabled
- "refresh rates in parenthesis" handling fixed
- on-screen leds do not disappear when switching filters
- enable ini-mode if <name of winuae.exe>.ini (without .exe) is found (previously winuae.ini was always used)
- logic analyzer copper timing updates (thanks to yaqube for test program) Not 100% correct yet, there seems to be unknown 2 cycle offset between bitplane dma and copper, and also seems to break Leander's right border (as I expected, something always breaks as long as it isn't 100% full fix)
- background color changes on very right edge of screen are now visible
- stop sound while inactive or minimized paused emulation
- directory filesystem statefile restore didn't work without restarting emulation

Hello Toni, I am not sure if this is Beta related but there is another bug I found:

1) I loaded my config (see attachment)
2) I have chosen Qickstart A500 most common config
3) Started Arkanoid (IPF version)
4) Did load filter PAL example
5) Unticked the enable filter box
6) but the PAL settings haven´t gone, only the screen switched to the right

Besides this in a lot of games the sound parameter is most times -99 and the sound goes bad.

If you get bad sound (and CPU%>100) when filter is enabled: either buy faster PC or don't use filters.

no no, it is not the CPU I think, but I am not sure because there is also a problem with the shown CPU usage (see attachment). Sometimes nothing is shown. The LED box for the sound often gets up to "-99", also without filters enabled. But not every game has this problem, only a few...

So arkanoid ipf does this during title screen or during game or both? (what SPS id? There appears to be multiple versions..)

Windowed mode?

(always test both windowed and fullscreen mode)

see also previous post (was edited too late, sry have bad WLAN connection).
Both is the answer, in windowed and full screen mode. It is partly during title screen (first 15 sec I think sound status isn´t shown) and during gameplay.

And it is also this kind of problem in the boot sequence if I start WinUAE , even without images -> normal?

It is not normal. Does it happen in 1.4.6? 1.5.0?

EDIT:

Anything in log when it happens? (run winuae with -log to see it in real time)
Does winuae appear to be paused few moments when it happens?

Display issue in 1.51beta

Toni,

I'm defaulting to a Multiscan:Productivity mode (640x480) and in the 1.15beta, the Workbench screen does not display properly.

I'm including a .zip file with screen grabs, config and logs.

It works fine in 1.50 but not so well in 1.51beta (including beta 7).

If I change the resolution to, for example, NTSC HighRes Interlaced (it displays fine) and then back to Multiscan:Productivity (and it displays correctly as well).

Regards,
Bogdan

Very stupid thing... Yesterday I had a lot of problems all day and today beta 7 works fine, no sound problems with arkanoid, no cpu usage problems, only graphical bugs.... hmmm, very strange thing

Works fine here (number of colors? AGA? Overscan?)
Attach the log again but this time restart winuae completely first because there should more lines after: "warning: 1B88 written to BEAMCON0".

load config '.\Configurations\default.uae':0
The :0 is at the very end of the log line and it apparently stands for the linux display, which makes no sense on x86 Windows environments.

Toni,

I started WinUAE from scratch... NOT a restart, and selected the configuration.

The configuration I'm using is based on the quickstart A1200 configuration with some changes for an 030 accelerator I'm using on a real machine.

Therefore the AGA mode is selected in the chipset, but I'm running Workbench in 4 color mode (2-bitplane).

Did a bit more testing.

If I start the emulation in NTSC HiRes Laced (640x400), regardless of the number of bitplanes, it displays properly.

Starting the emulation in Multiscan:Productivity, regardless of the number of bitplanes, it does not display properly.
