This afternoon I've add a clear plastic "window" beside the CF so I can see the light of the adapter from outside. Small detail for a piece of 2mm, but nice too (sorry, I can't get a photo with the light flashing):
yeah, I like my HDD placement, I very nearly swapped it out for a CF solution as it only *JUST* fits over the Indivision AGA!

Your CF solution looks lovely! very neat, I like that! I can see the LED though even its not flashing Very nice idea

Thanks Photon, I am really eager to get her finished when i'm home again in January. By the whole setup, do you mean hardware inside all in the case?

All the extra photos I have up to now are stored at my Picasa albums listed in above posts if you can access picasa? just click the links

I got the indivision to work at 1024 x 768 with an app off aminet, but in the photos its running at a lower resolution (I forget exactly which one I was changing it often to see how it worked and took pictures at various resolutions I think) But I wlll be using the 1024 x 768 mostly when finished.

I don't have still an Indivision, but I have the internal Cd and the subway with the sheilding on. Do you know or believe it can be installed with the sheilding?
(well, I know the new Indivisions will be smaller, but can't wait so much)

I never actually tried with the sheilding on and I wouldn't recommend it as it gets quite warm. But I *Think* its supposed to work ok with the sheilding on but a small modification is needed to the sheild itself from what I remember.

No, I meant how the Amiga+Monitor+mouse etc looks on your desk Picasa was full of detail-pictures. But I understand, not quite finished yet? So take some nice shots when it's all done, I'm sure it will be great

After seeing this page http://www.commodoreusa.net/Home.html I'm not quite sure if putting an slot cd. It seems all the ideas are on the contrary, a tray system cd...

What do you think of that designs?

hi phipscude just been looking at your creation and that looks awesome with boat loads of extras that would normally been advertised for towered A1200's only

Great work

Awesome work, Les!

That's the ultimate desktop A1200 I see to this day.

Wanna donate it to me?

Awesome work§

I like the style approach that you have, unlike many other modifications I have seen, your machine preserves that original Amiga 1200 standard look. A bit like my own, but I do not even closely match all the modifications you have §

Going to see if I can get Amigakit to help me getting a PICO PSU installed instead of the old power plug. They have helped me before with a subway, lyra 2, indivision custom a1200 build. Quite awesome.

Cheers,
Haymigga

*shudder* I don't like that website! That design is really great but it was designed by someone else. I think either a slot or a tray is cool in an A1200. I initially wanted to try the tray but found most if not all modern tray drives are black and I wanted something matching the white of the 1200, even then "white" ones tend to be a bit off coloured. I'm picky then I just thought what the hell, i'll go nuts

Thanks Haymigga!

I'm glad you noticed the original look, that's what I want too. Well apart from the small case sticker I put that on to give a small hint on the beastly interior

I would have liked to have fit in a Pico PSU, but alas, no space. I did small tests with one too but found it was getting pretty hot too which adds to the already warm interior. Now I will put a modified mATX PSU inside an original A1200 (light) PSU shell at some point... and this, again, ties in with the original look

Hi Phipscube and thanks for your answers. I'm thinking to install a Delphina as you (still I have to receive it). I was thinking to put their outputs in the Rf place, but you're going to substitute the Amiga ones?
There's no problem with that? I want to see that
