VincED / $TERM Question

Hi,

Is it possible to get ANSI type TERM settings in Vinced or the the CLI so I can use syntax highlighting in vim/vi? I've been wondering how to do this...any pointers appreciated :-)

I guess no one's ever attempted this then? I can't get amiga vim to load it's syntax.vim file anyway...
