CybervisionPPC H/W Installation
Hi
I notice that when the CybervisionPPC in installed in my CSMK3 the CybervisionPPC touches the back of the A4000 daughterboard/riser. Is this ok? Will it cuase anythintg to short out or shall i put a piece of card between the two? Regards |

There was a plastic shield delivered with the CVPPC which prevented the gfx card from touching the doughter board. Yes, you should put something there.

I never got anything with my 2 new CVPPCs. But I used a postcard between the card and the riser and it's always worked fine

I got a piece of thin white cardboard. And it looks official too, tho parts of it have gone brown!!! I guess only some were lucky enough to get the plastic shield.

well i have put some kellogs cornflakes cereal card between the 2 now and its doing the job just fine/ thanks guys!
