Can't get my 16GB CF to work

I'm trying to get my 16GB Transcend CF card to work on a real Amiga using the below linked guide, followed to the letter with the only difference that I'm using pfs3aio 3.1, i.e. the latest, but it keep failing. The first drive of 500MB works perfectly but the rest of the 14GB isn't and is in the Amiga showing DH1:NDOS and when trying to format it, it says "object too large".

scsi.device 44.2 is loaded
the disk shows up and works under WinUAE but not on the real Amiga
both disks was formatted without errors with scsi.dev 44.2 under the preparation step as per the guide
DF0 works fine

I need help with this.
