[abime.net] EAB2 skin available

Hi guys,

The first beta of EAB2 skin is available for public testing and for moaning retroweber who don't like the EAB3 skin.
In order to use it, go at the end of your User CP option and select EAB2 skin.

Please report anything you would like to see to be modified, for the moment it's a light skin, and there is still some work to do

update: you can also change the skin with the quick style chooser at the bottom left of every pages

Excellent! Darker theme, I like it. I know work is still ongoing, just thought I'd point out some of the colours are messed up (example below) in both themes.

Still problems; browser IE 5.5

Most prominent on a public profile page where most the text is this colour. Also in the places shown below:

The layout is equal to the eabv3 so I think I'll stick to the new one.

Yeah, well, this is a little better, but basically, it's just a few colours being changed, isn't it? The images are still the same, the irritating table layout, too. Also, the background colour of the top bar ("User CP FAQ Members List [...]" ) is still the lighter one.

I really like how the new skin is shaping up and it's great that RCK is listening to our concerns and trying to reach a compromise.

I was among the first to addess certain issues I had with EAB3 but I'm willing to accept change as it's not my board. It feels like the old EAB (ie not as bright) but has all the fantastic new features of EAB 3 so I'm happy.

A couple of minor points:

Links - can they be a different colour; they're black like the text.
The background colour of the reply text boxes appears a little dark to me.
Whose online needs to be at the top on the main page. Currently it's at the bottom
IRC info seems missing?

Still have the problem shown above with EAB 3 style and font colours being near invisible, but since I won't be using it guess it doesn't matter to me.

Cody, are you joking kidder? I don't remember those earlier styles...........

What's wrong with the look of EAB3? I think it is great! It owns all the older looks.
