Angry Most annoying thing ever in the history of Amiga and any other format for that matter

Sellotape on the covers of magazines to hold down floppies, cassettes.

I want to stick a knitting needle in whoever's eyes made this happen

I remember peeling back slowly then at the last bit it tore the cover... bastid

I think they did that to stop the thieving herberts knicking the disks off the shelves

And did it stop them?

No, they just used a penknife to slit the cellophane bag containing the disk and slid it out!

(Not that I ever used that technique... )

I hate non-skippable intros in Amiga games. WHDLoad helps a lot there.

New ADF cracks with such skippable-intros would also help for those who can't use WHDLoad for various reasons...

Too easily off-coming IDE-port pins of an A1200. Two pins got loose when i disconnected my 2.5" HD-cable from the port. The pins resided in the cable after that.

That's bad news. Nonetheless, it's useful to know this can happen when troubleshooting IDE problems.

When the warranty guy comes to fix your Amiga and you know more than he does You end up showing him what to do

and

when the warranty guy comes to fix your peecee, he uses the fecking rescue disk and returns the peecee to its factory defaults, minus all you documents (this only happened to a friend of mine, he was warned beforehand)

I think it must seem like a stroke of genius to most Apple users...

but most anoying thing in the history of Amiga however has to be...

the inconceivable stupidity of those in charge of Commodore and Amiga, from 1989 till 1995..... (its not Amiga after that)

I supose it could well also be the incredibly late adoption of the internet by the UK. thats just dire that is.

Are you including Escom in there Zetr0? They weren't too bad, at least they got Amiga HW back in the shops which is more than any of the other 'owners' have managed to do so far

Hmmm...

2 disk games that didn't recognise your second drive
Games that forced NTSC when my TV wouldn't do it and just roll (Dynablaster, BC kid)
Games that used space as a second fire button with no option to allow one on the joystick
ST Ports
disk labels starting to peel off and leading to the disk jamming in the drive
drive click
games on huge numbers of disks with no logic as to the order of gameplay, leading to constant swapping

That should do for now!

Oh yes! Even better : Games with more than 2 disks not recognising a second drive
Not really annoying, more frightening : The sound the drive made when a read error occured. Still gives me the shivers

Floppy disks when the springs break on the dust-covers, and micro-switch joysticks. And !ntanet xpl0r@ - anything shipped with an OS, is part of the OS!

This is easy:

UNLIMITED ENEMIES!!!

Many pretty good action game has unlimited enemies that makes playing extremely boring. For Example Alien Breed games becomes quickly annoying due this. I wish there had been more games like Turrican series with enemies that have been scripted to the game area - in the same way like Half-Life!
