Oops I burned something!
Akira will love this.
I caused a short circuit near the IDE port. It's not my main A1200 and I wasn't using it for a while. I decided to connect a HD which was also collecting dust but I didn't notice the 2.5" to 3.5" converter IDE cable had some naked wires. Do you think my IDE bus will work once I replace these fried resistors? I'm getting red stripes across the screen when I connect the HD now. Last edited by oldpx; 12 June 2004 at 01:30. |

No the resistors still work but yes something is faulty, probably 8520 as I'm told. No I'm not going to get it fixed. I'll trade it with another because I'm missing leds, keyboard and a good working floppy as well
