Interesting, how to activate the music s2325? Or is it already activated - then I just didn't get it the first time I watched that video xD

@StarEye, either you really don't like the sound of the music on the A500 (then your post is actually epic xD) or you switched it off. As far as I know there is some music ingame [ Show youtube player ] Or I just didn't get it - probably the same problem I might have with the vid from the post before yours xD

Nope, not hidden or anything... at the screen where you select the world to play on, it's located with big white letters saying something like "PRESS SPACE FOR MUSIC ON OR OFF"... so whatever you select, if you changed your mind later, you can activate or deactivate it ingame. Was something like that, not played it for years so forgot the details, but I personally never missed it. Donno how you missed that.

Hmm, maybe it was on the title screen, now when I think about it.

Only game I know of that sort of has hidden music, is Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Coin-Op!.

It has no music ingame, but if you use a memory module ripper, it catches one which has some subtunes in it.

hipoonios: is there any way to activate it in Turtles?

Someone here also told me that there would be some music for K240 but it is also hidden and cannot be activated, maybe through a hack... would be really great in that game...

When compared to the PC version, Monkey Island 2 on the Amiga is missing a lot of music. Woodtick + it's respective buildings, Voodoo Lady, Phatt City Jail, Dinky Island etc etc. It's actually a damn shame, because I absolutely love the Amiga version of these, they sound so much meatier than the tinny midi versions (Rolan MT-32 version is another story, but then there are no sound effects).

All right, that sounds logical. Yes, the iMuse system from the PC version may have been to difficult to implement with the Amiga's 4 channels - for Lucasarts at the time. Or maybe they thought it wasn't worth all the effort.

Black Lamp has in-game music switched off, and you have to press F9 to activate it (instead FX). In the spanish manual is not metioned (so for me was a surprise (and for other spanish amigans)), I guess the original manual mentions it, but not the translated one.
And how about 1Mb music? I remember Welltris music when u have 1MB, also First Sammurai get in-game music with 1MB...

Oh yes, games with 1Mb enhanced or activated music should be mentioned, too! If you know more, please post them here Thanks guys, those two are exactly what I meant! I just knew there were more of those Need to put them into a list, though...

Mega lo Mania: Only with 1 MB you can activate speech and music together.
Ghost'n' Goblins: ditto, you need 1 MB for music, no music with 512 KB. Tested with the extended ADF.

Very interesting, never knew that. I just launched the game to listen to that music and it's terrible, no wonder that they let it only as an option. It seems to be just completely randomly chosen sfx from the game put together as "music". Even the "Apocalypse spell" jingle is much better than this

Well F/A 18 Interceptor begin has a humming sample when ran in 512k and instead a sampled tune when ran with 1 MB - but guess that is old;

also old: super hang-on ran in 512k has just 10 seconds of music and loads levels separated while with 1 MB will load all levels in RAM and music last more...

Really? You'd think they could have made a basic game like that run in 512k without too much trouble.

Metal Mutant? I don't recognize this music and it's slightly too positive to fit game mood http://www.amiga-paradise.com/mp3/%5...etal%20Mutant/

I always wondered why Richard Joseph is credited in Barbarian (Palace) when the game has SFX only. And I always hoped there is some way to activate music. Unfortunatelly, no music data found on the disc

Final Assault, may work with Amiga version:
when equipping your pack before you start out you can add a walkman-like stereo, and if you double-click it while playing the game you'll get a unique music track

Warp by Thalion has hidden music for the titlescreen, I think it was holding down left mouse button or something whilst loading and the music changes.
