Another small update...
I edited the css file as Enverex reported some packs could not be downloaded with IE6, this has now been fixed. I have also added the May 2004 and April 2004 packs to the site. More will be added soon. (Including the beast of a February 2005 pack) |

Indeed I shall...
Another site update before the big "end of month extravanganza" (tm). I've now added the January, February and March 2004 packs to the site. That means every update pack is now online. I've been talking with woody about the possibility of hosting the original letter packs on the site so watch this space... Feb 2005 pack should be out on saturday. |

I've been trying to get the original "alphabet-packages" and the earlier updates from overnet/edonkey network.. but the progress is slow.. atleast now i can scratch a few items off the list of files to download
If any of you guys have whdload packages, feel free to source them to the P2P networks.. also it would take some of the load off the KG's bandwidth :P |

STUPID ME!!!!
In my haste to upload the files I forgot to check the contents of the packs thoroughly... Guess who forgot to remove Pinball Brain Damage (property of APC & TCP) from the March 2004 pack?! I am an idiot. I don't want this thread turning into another flame war or anything like last time. This time I can actually say I was hosting the file, much to my idoicy. I recieved an email from APC & TCP again with notification of my actions, I removed it from the site but unfortunately the site has been pulled by the host and I'm not sure what the outcomes will be. I have since removed this from the archive but it is not online so who knows. Anyone want to check all the packs and make sure there are no more APC & TCP files in any of them?!) |

Right... ANOTHER UPDATE.
The site is back up. The March pack contains no signs of Pinball Brain Damage now. Everything is working as usual. |

http://torrent.mametitles.co.uk/ I've always had great speeds. They have a WHDload demo pack and a WHDload game pack. It is dated 6th Feb 2005, and is 2.03Gigs (2095 sets). I'm assuming its based off the oringal LZX packs and the updates - but I'm not sure, as to torrent them successfully they have had to use Mamezip. This means all the *.lzx files have to be decompressed, the clrmame sorted then mamezipped. (ouch) The dats they use are here: http://www.eggmansworld.com/computer.htm Could someone tell me if they are the same as all the lzx packs? |
