"DOS-Error #205 (object not found) on reading "devs:kickstarts/kick 40068.a4000"
hi,i've downloaded some preinstalled HD games,all of them work fine but two.Robinson's reguiemAGA and Rise of the robotsAGA.When i try to run them,i got the same message:"DOS-Error #205 (object not found) on reading "devs:kickstarts/kick 40068.a4000".Does some1 know what the problem is.Your suggestions are very appreciated.Thanx Jonathan

the problem is that whdload couldn´t find the image of the kickrom...
if you own a real amiga A1200or A4000 (KICK3.1)then you have to grab the kickrom with grabkick or something similar... the created file has now a size of 512 KB which is the full image of the inbuilt kickrom... this file have to be renamed to 40068.A4000 and put to devs/kickstart/... if you didn´t own a real amiga you have to buy the Amiga Forever from Cloanto where you find the needed kickrom... may this tutorial could help ya...klick |
