You mention to change transferrate there for use with CF. I assume thats the same for an SD card?
Hi! I hope you found the Video useful!

Yes for any modern IDE device connected to Amiga IDE you need to change the Max_Transfer only very old HDD's or real SCSI drives you don't need to do this

I got my A1200 running and I am starting to understand WB again

whdload is fun. I installed Barbarian 2 (dungeon of drax) but it's way too fast to play. I thought it was maybe the 040 but removing that card and so playing on a basic A1200 was still way too fast.

is there a setting in whdload to slow things down? Or maybe a setting somewhere which downclocks the cpu?

Its pretty amazing a A1200 is so much faster then A500.

EDIT: Oh in your video you partition your CF on a real Amiga. Why not in UAE?

You may have a look at the whd slave readme what may answer your question. Or try "nocache" tooltype to slowdown.

2 reasons:

1) It's good to know before doing lots of work in UAE that the CF actually works on the Amiga!

2) Often people have trouble getting PC formatted CF's to work with WinUAE and are not confident using tools like Diskpart to clean the CF of any Windows partitions, creating an RDB and partitioning on the Amiga completely destroys any PC partitions on the CF and therefore there will be no problems when it comes to setting up on WinUAE

@daxb
I tried but alas thanks for the tip though. I posted this in whdload forum section.

@fitzsteve
Ty, your video helped a lot. Eventually I picked betterWB + Dopus 4 though. I'll see where I get from there.
