Right, good call - somewhat obscure, but very impressive piece of hardware for A1000 owners. Gotta give it a thumbs up at least ;-) I got one in March but unfortunately still havent installed it as my A1000 got a little less attention while I was scouting some chips for the Rejuvenator… Ill give it some attention this xmas. |

If you don't accept votes from other forums it's kinda trolly to ask... I will vote here, and I have no idea if you will take my vote into account: It's kind of difficult to answer. Many hardware solutions are not really expansions, but "for" Amiga. Hardware and software solutions, if they are serious, are also an upgrade of earlier versions, so, released vs update? And if serious, they continue to sell and are finished, so really great and stable solutions. Should they be punished for not updating needlessly in 2023? It's also difficult to answer the hardware question because I'm saving up to buy a house and so kept retro purchases to a minimum, or some TerribleFire cards or mainboard replacements by Chucky would be bought! Amiga hardware: Denise adapters for RGBtoHDMI: Many fans returning to Amiga find that they've thrown away their CRTs and bought flatscreens that don't work with any of their favorite platforms. These adapters allow 2023 monitors like Dell SE2422H/2722H to be bought new, and work perfectly at 15kHz 50Hz with many settings. Amiga software: For games I'm more than good, there are many more than I will ever have time to play. Also swamped with work and finding time for making software of my own, so I may have to be reminded by someone what was released. Rogue Declan Zero by our own Nivrig is the one I've seen played the most on Twitch. Seems good. Reshoot Proxima 3 also looked good and not least for being a new CD32 game, hype! Dunno if the games are finished i.e. released, AmiGameJam accepted WIP games. OS3.2.2 is also awesome, because of the dedication. As for upgrading, well, I'm good (don't need the improvements/changes in the update). It's released, so that's the vote from me. |

Thanks for the posts and votes so far everyone, I am getting some interesting results from EAB and the other forums plus the magazine forum. I will keep it going until the end of November and then add everything together and see which hardware and software came out on top |

In that case it should be left till the next issue of course, it's misleading to claim you have a list of what is best in the year when the year hasn't even ended.

How can one vote for OS 3.3 when it is not available yet? Did I miss a release announcement?

Best Amiga game, at least until we have other releases at the December end, for now is Reshoot Proxima 3.
As hardware I don't know, there are on the market PiStorm, Warp1260, several accelerators or peripherals that I don't own and so I cannot express a personal opinion. |
