Amiga Video Theremin

If you are lucky enough to have an a-squared live video board go here to find out info on this program

http://www.sover.net/~ronp/videotheremin/vt.html

and the goods news is that I just e-mailed ron peterson and he says it is free to download "The VideoTheremin is available for free now since Live! digitizers are almost impossible to find these days"

check the zone if you want a copy.....

Just do a search on Google and you'll find out shitloads of info on how a theremin works. And even instructions to build your own!

Bro, you got the card already?

After so much time I'd like some more info about this card and software. I heard it came with software done by Elan, which could well be a prcursor to Arkaos on PC.(It was like Elan Performer but adding realtme effects to incoming video by keystrokes)

Anybody have data? Internet searches are scarce

Mandala, Elan Performer or Elan Invision - as been found here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=46898 - dunno about any other.
Do you have such a board?

Edit#1: can someone please upload VideoTheremin software again to the zone?

Edit#3: Eye Toy is the Ps2 device - there is one with similiar name for macs ...

Edit#1: i found the tool (vt.lha) on the above homepage, a bit hidden

Edit#2: Ron Peterson made another nice video effects tool, called c-light.

This type of interaction is super hype nowadays, if elan had made it superhyped, history would have been different. Today there's tons of apps of this type made with Processing for example.

I leave you a video:

Arkaos VJ is basically an Elan Performer rip-off. It was an obscure tool, sadly underapreciated.
