Turrican 2 Editor

OT (kinda): Wasn't there an editor for "Turrican II" (Amiga-version)? I remember a screenshot with the usual T2-starting area filled with powerup-boxes which aren't there in the original.

Someone have a link?

Never seen that screenshot, nor the editor. Any idea where you've seen that?

It was somewhere in the Internet. I remember the site was called "English Amiga Board" (?) or something like that...

Or maybe it wasn't really an editor with a GUI but just a description (incl. proof) of how to "mod" T2...

Maybe this?
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=7022

It doesn't say which part it is for, but the graphs are from T3 so it might be the same editor...

No, that isn't what I meant either.

Searched myself and couldn't find it. But searching for "Turrican" here took me to this:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...urrican&page=2
WTH? Super Cars International? How could I probably have missed that back when I had MS-DOS?! I need to try this on DosBox ASAP!

Maybe that thread about Turrican II was on another forum after all? I've searched through nemmelheim/turricanforever's threads but couldn't find it - only this thread about the C64-versions:
http://www.turricanforever.de/setaforum?id=210

Ask Exl very nicely - I bet hes figured it all out already.
If there was full T2 editor id like to do something in Metroid Style
The Turrican 3 source might have a Map editor - but the tools are Baffling.

It's not that urgent - I don't wanna bother him.

That Metroid-style Turrican has recently beend done - Metroidican, a highly recommendable levelpack for T2002 (far better than T2002's default levels).

Get T2002 (including the editor) from: www.pekaro.de (=> "Download")
And Levelpacks at: http://www.nemmelheim.de/turrican (=> "Levelbase")

Okay, I've asked at Turrican SETA's board and got what I was looking for:

(so it weren't bonus-blocks but just blocks in the screenie)

Here is the topic in which I got the answer: http://turricanforever.de/bronkoforum?id=526

@Exl: That sounds great.

Then I'm pretty sure there must be a thread about this here.

Btw.: dear Joe Maroni, could you please make your levelExtractOfAndInsertToAWinUaeSaveStateFile-Tool available?
