@AmigaSystem Thank you for your test! It works well for you so it should work as well for Samo79

@Samo79 Can you run DeliTracker2 or EaglePlayer on your computer? If yes, could you run one of them and then run AmiModRadio?

Regarding the mangled "Log" title, could you make sure that you delete/replace any previous catalogs by the new ones. They could be located in LOCALE:Catalogs or PROGDIR:catalogs.

I wanted to avoid adding a feature "Select your player" to simplify usage but could add it if that allows it to run on your computer

EaglePlayer does not work for sure, DeliTracker2 maybe.. i will test it.

About the string problem in translation, yeah i've just replaced the old catalog with the new one and nothing else still.

As i said to AMIGASYSTEM we are using the OS on different system, he still on classic Amiga so old programs sometimes are more compatible

The problem "logo" catalog Italian i find it on all systems tested !

tygre now AmiModRadio works well also on "AROS One 68k", strangely enough here the Italian Catalog works perfectly

Unfortunely it is .. as same as the version command that does not work correctly in latest version 0.9996
I've now found somewhere on my HD the old 0.9991 release and both issues are not present there, so bugs must be in something you introduced recently

With v0.9996 the French catalog does not present the problem, even if there are problems with the lower case letters

The problem with the accented letters could come from the font "codeset": "Contrôle" is rendered as "ContrÙle" on your system but, on mine, it renders well so I would think that it is because of the font? Which font are you using?

It was in fact the fault of the fonts "Helvetica", once replaced solved the problem of large characters

I'm using dejavu sans on OS4
But the problem is on a string that does not contain any accent .. (tab Log)
There were no problem in older version of AmiModRadio btw

I haven't tested dejavu sans on OS4 (check), on OS3 the font dejavu sans doesn't give me any problem, see screenshot

Tested dejavu sans fonts on OS 4.1 and I don't think there are problems on French fonts, see screenshot

This seems to mean that the problem with "Log" is due to something happening specifically on your config., Samo79. Would you mind trying a different set of fonts? (Only with the English catalog, if you could move the other ones someplace else.)

We should try to eliminate the "obvious" before going into more debugging

I'm not an expert in translating Catalog, but after having examined it, it seemed to me that the "Log" entry is absent in the Italian catalog.

I tried to insert the "Log" item in the right position and it seems to work well, I don't know if my procedure is right but it worked, see screenshot

I checked my translation and more or less in the middle of the catalog i have the log string

I compared my ct file with the latest catalog descriptor (file cd) and everything seems correct and in right order

As you can see from the screenshot I noticed the lack of the "Log" item and I also noticed the "numerical jump" of the value 00000101, from here it was easy to guess where and how to insert the "Log".

Veramente strano .. quella stringa doveva esserci per forza altrimenti il compilatore mi avrebbe dato un avviso
Puoi andare nella cartella "italiano" ed aprire col notepad il file amimodradio.ct ?

Dovresti dirmi se vedi la stringa della tab "Log" che ho postato sopra ..
