Elbox Zorro 4 Busboard

Hello.. I was wondering if anyone out there can help me with this...

I have a zorro 4 card, when I plug it into my A1200 with no expansion I get a ROM error (Red screen)... but when I plug a blizzard 060 into it, it sits on a white screen like it's about to boot... but it never does...

So... Can anyone with one tell me how to fix this?

If not.. can you tell me the following?

What all the jumpers do on the board,
Which (if any) A1200 motherboard revisions is doesn't work with
And if it needs anything more than the AT mainboard power supply connector plugged in?

And any other useful hints before I throw it out the window?

Yeah.. looked there... was wondering if they were wrong...
There seems to be no "no accelerator" option for the board... and it seems that 2 of the jumpers are pointless... was wondering if there were other settings that ppl knew of.

no... it was an elbox invention
on their busboard they made the top 2 zorroII slots to operate in fast modes, for some cards that support this feature...

According to this board that's just "Fast Zorro II"..

The Zorro 4 Connectors look very different.. (look at the connector of the Mediator PCI ZIV)

Heys binox, I am currently looking at mine now. and this is as it was when it was set up running.

firstly it was using an APOLLO 1260 @50 card with 32MB ram.

jumper settings as follows.

Z2 adjust = off
CFGM = off
CFG0 = on
CFG1 = off
FAST-Z2 = off

hope this helps BinoX

[edit]
PS.
If i remember all those many moons ago my friend, I had to remove some soldering flask from one or two of the pins as it was shorting ( i was getting a nice red screen )

anyways might be wise to double check

lol I just noticed the eyetech sticker/label on the back (says it has 2 clock ports) when i count the top of the board theres 4 of 'em

Cool I've heard a lot of people had trouble with the 1D revisions (Which is what I have.. ALL of them) So I ordered a 2B from AmigaKit (Very good service ) and was hoping that it'd be OK...

So when that arrives (Along with my Blizzard PPC) I should have a system going nicely

AFAIK the Z4 Board was build by ATC (the one who did the Apollo cards) and not Elbox.

dunno who built it... but elbox sells it, and they also have sold some apollo 030 cards, so maybe they had a deal or something...
but that busboard is the most close to the original 2000 zorroII implementation.
Also I guess zorroIV refers to the 2 strange slots that mediatorZIV connects to one of them....

Ok, just to clear this point finally:

Concept: Steffen Christ (ACT), Jens Schoenfeld (Individual)
Development: Steffen Christ
Production: DCE
Distribution: Vesalia and Elbox.

So it was not an Elbox
invention, they just sold it.
