2014 bump!

Almost 12 years...

I suppose that the hope was someone would see it and think "ah I remember that ad for xxxxxx" or "I remember that ad from xxxxxx magazine"

I remain optimistic!

Could have been this?
Either on the character dying or on a low score on the scores page?

or:
https://www.google.it/search?q=frank...e)%3B311%3B321

frankenstein the monster return for nintendo or something like that?

Or gobliiins or ghouls and ghosts or ghosts and goblins...

or perhaps a cemetary scene in one of the Elvira or Waxworks games?

also to check: Ooze and Loom

It wasn't an in game shot, it was ad artwork, possibly with some screenshots on it...

I has this magazine page on my wall for years over several houses and I can't for the life of me remember the game it was from.

Non-Amiga mags I had around the time were CD-ROM User and and PC Format but I cant find it trawling through PDF back issues

If it's what I'm thinking of then it was black and white artwork.
Probably between '92-'94, I've a sneaky suspicion I might have seen it in Computer and Video Games.

Haha I wasn't being intentionally mysterious, just it is likely to have been in the period between me getting my A600 and not buying computer mags because I was spending my money on driving lessons.

I'm now doubting myself and wondering whether it could have been at the end of my CPC days when I had my Sega Game Gear. Now even more vague...

I'm thinking if this wasn't in CD-ROM User magazine it was around the same period, so I'm now thinking 1994...

I've been thru most of the C&VG mag scans and have not found it yet

Could it be The Art of Fighting 3?

there is this scene that could have been easily depicted on a advert too imho.

Well.. I guess a script could be developed to extract out all ascii strings out of all amiga disk images. Then this collection of strings could be dropped into a database and searched. Does a database like this already exist? I wonder if the phrase in question could be found...

Could have been instead a snarky comment by some reviewer under a screenshot of the game in a magazine?
