Best PD Platformer?

Hi,

I'm not too familiar with many PD games, but i was wondering if there were any platformers that people liked?

Thanks.

Edit: Sorry i guess this was better in request.games perhaps.

Well if you believe Stuart Campbell of Amiga Power, Top Secret is the greatest PD platformer of all time. In my opinion though, it stinks! He gave Rick Dangerous a 10% rating, yet this steaming pile is the greatest platformer ever!

For original yet retro single-screen arcade puzzling goodness, you'd struggle to do better than Electrek. But perhaps I AM a tad biased...

With infinite lives i'd say Rick dangerous can at least be fun - satisfying to finally beat a difficult part say - but it has quite unfair design if i recall, so just a few lives doesn't make for any fun at all for me. It's a memory game but one that also needs you to have good platforming skills, and with infinite lives it's a better experience. I bet many people just gave up on the retail version

Check out David Parsons' games. They're available for free from his website. I think they were actually licensed as shareware back in the day, but are featured in an interview on Amiga PD so the license might have changed since.
