It Came From The Desert Remake

Hello friends of EAB, I hope you don’t mind me doing a bit of promotion of the remake I've been working on for a while and I have been sharing on social media during the last week.

It Came From The Desert Remake is my attempt of updating this Cinemaware masterpiece to modern visuals and mechanics.

I have just released the first devlog on my blog where you can read and see a bit more about the process behind the scenes.

Very impressive indeed. I remember the original very well... I'd like to see how the ants fair up the the graphical challenge!

As far as I know, the current copyright owner of all Cinemaware IPs is Starbreeze AB, and no, I don't have their permission nor prohibition.

Just hoping they are OK with it since it's a non-profit-making project.

it's like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Remake. After they worked so long for this game, non-profit project, LucasArts (now Disney) don't give their permission to share this game.
Now they can only share demo of this project..but i think they continue to work to this great game.

Of course you have to go on with your project.

I think I downloaded that Fate of Atlantis remake demo but haven't got time to play it yet... it certainly looks impressive! looking forward to playing it.

Amazing work Jos, are you a 1 man army or do you have a dev team? If this is all your own work i truly tip my hat. Cant wait for some kind of playable demo .. good luck with the project
