Amiga applications and tools
Just a thought, you could have a separate area of the game database set up to accommodate Amiga Applications - you know Deluxe Paint etc. CanDo was a favourite of mine.

Hm, it doesn't make much sense to me booting straight into the app and not having any volumes to save or load your files.
You really need a workbench for this. |

Hi, database support for applications isn't really planned. Lik jbl007 says, it probably wouldn't work well to use the same framework for it either, though the specific problem mentioned could be solved by having FS-UAE Launcher always mount a shared Files volume. But there are other complications as well - cases where you want to run multiple applications at the same time (etc).
But bottom line is, for my part I have more than enough on my hands with game database support already (PS: anyone can make a "database" of disk-based applications (with shared files volume and whatnot) via normal .fs-uae files. You can even specify files by checksums in .fs-uae files like amigafreak68k discovered - http://eab.abime.net/support-fs-uae/...a-forever.html - for an OAGD.net-like behavior) |

Yes...it was late,I was tired and didn't think it through too well. I guess a database that listed the App disks and auto loaded them so they were ready to run after a hard drive boot might be nice. TBH, its a job of its own and as you say, limited benefit.
