if you don't want to extend the battles by playing cat/mouse with a single enemy alive, just to boost your stats (and that you can do only so far, because of a limitation of the stat counters ---> FF probably, or less), well there's not much else to do but watch the upside down world spin round and round...
Maybe you're right, but a thing is very very good in Perihelion: there are no random encounters!!! I hate them, especially in the AD&D Goldbox Series!

Feel free to contact me any time.

You can also RTFM :

If this doesn't help, then maybe you've got a broken version.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site, but an old time Amiga owner...

Most additive games were:-

Championship Manager (the original version)... missed a lot of potential life whilst playing this game!

Elite 2 Frontier was quite a big time killer too.

Oh and Sensible Soccer. Only for short spells, but sooo many of them!

I'll make my first post in here as well.

Sadly I never owned much games for my A500 so I'll just list them all.

Turrican II
Nebulus
Battlechess, the piece animations were amazing, excpecially the capture ones. I'll never forget it.
Crack, it's just, weird... it had hairy trolls.
Interceptor, a flight simulator with a jet.
Mouse trap, platform/puzzle game, really challenging on higher levels.

If only my old RGB monitor weren't broken

Dragon Lord/Dragon's Breath - The king of them all for me. My friend and I had detailed spellbooks that we guarded closely. We spent the entire summer of 1992 playing this game 8 hours a day before he finally conceded that he couldn't make his first 3 or 4 spells of the game compete with mine. I received Dragon's Breath off of an auction recently, and I left my old friend a voicemail with nothing but a few seconds of the theme music, which he still recognized. The rivalry has been resurrected...

Speedball II
Armour Geddon
Shadow of the Beast III (they finally got the gameplay right!)
Black Crypt
Awesome
Turrican
Battle of Britain
Faery Tale Adv.

I've played so many championship manager 92/93 seasons that at a point the new generated players started to devaluate each season, for some weird programming fault every generation became less talented, players with 20 skill points started to become non-existant. Anyone else experienced this? I was rather disapointed as I wasn't bored yet

On CM '93, I've completed 30 seasons (and won about 13 Premier League titles, six FA Cups, five European Cups, four League Cups, a UEFA Cup and a Cup Winners' Cup, all with Brentford and I took them over at the end of season 8, winning promotion to the top flight), and I've never had the problems you describe. Perhaps it was a bad crack? On mine the players that were due to move abroad never did, making the game somewhat easier than it should have been, given that I didn't have to bother replacing my best players.
