Wet v6.7: Download
Update v6.7a: Download

NB: Wet v6.7 requires AmiSSL v4

Wet: Program retrieves local meterological data from the Internet, and saves it in (regulary updating) env-vars to allow you to display it in the WB titlebar, as an icon on Workbench, AmiDock or in the GUI. It can show a forecast for up to 24 hours ahead (where available), and is fully localisable.

This is a patch file to update to v6.7. You will need v6.1 or higher installed first.

New translations for:
Basque
Czech
English (built-in)
French
German
Greek
Italian
Norwegian
Norwegian-nynorsk
Polish
Spanish
Turkish

Old or partial translations for:
Dutch
Finnish
Swedish

Looks very cool but nothing happens when I run either Wet or Wet.OS3... I mean absolutely nothing, no crash but also nothing else... What am I doing wrong?

I tried on WinUAE with AmigaOS 3.1.4

I have no OS 3.1.4 to test, Wet Works well with OS 3.9, while with OS 3.1 it is very difficult to work.

Wet requires:

PNG Datatypes

Classes/Gadgets/:
- string.gadget
- layout.gadget
- integer.gadget
- listbrowser.gadget
- scroller.gadget
- button.gadget
- clicktab.gadget
- radiobutton.gadg

Classes/Images/:
- glyph.image
- drawlist.image

Thank you! I used SnoopDOS, which told me that I was missing requester.class so I installed the latest ClassAct libraries v3.3 and, voilà! Wet works and it is very cool

Only problem "server error not connected", i also have wrong values on "Sunrise" and "Sunset", i sent an email to its author.

How cool is this!? I just installed 6.1; I'll update to 6.7 presently. This is amazing! Nice 4.1 icons if you want them and the returned weather info appears to be accurate compared with other sources.

I appreciate any application which drags OS3 kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Seriously, I'm perfectly aware how imperfect our Retro OS is and why it will never be able to accomplish certain tasks but there's no reason why it can't serve our needs while we're running it. No reason it can't have beautiful 32bit icons, beautifully rendered Truetype fonts (limited only my OS3s ability to render font-smoothing via AfA), web browsing, music, modern mp4 video,internet radio, graphics, and enjoyable games with the right hardware or via emulation.

I'm holding out hope for a word processor that will at least import RTF or ASCII with formatting intact (Evenmore is a viewer and gets about 94% of the way there).

Wet is a beautifully executed application.
