EAB/Lemon Super League 2016: Round 13 Game Vote

EAB/Lemon Super League 2016: Round 13 Game Vote
Starts: 00:01 September 25 Finishes: 23:59 October 8

Full rules are here.

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.

The winners of Round 12 have double voting power for Round 13. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 12 their vote is trebled.

Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here.

So I will start the voting.

1. Mega Lo Mania (play worlds 2, 5, 8 for fewest used men)
2. Twinworld
3. Lionheart (score is (number of hearts - 4)*100 + number of symbols + lives * 5 (at last boss))
4. Locomotion (Kingsoft)
5. Turrican

For Mega Lo Mania, I will post the scoring proposal below.

Ok, here is a setting for Mega Lo Mania:

Play world 2, 5 and 8 with the following codes and post a screenshot of the next world and write how many men were used. (Note that there is a bonus of 100 men for completing a world.)
World 2: KMEAKXROPNQ (gives 200 men)
World 5: SDOAGLLIVPS (gives 500 men)
World 8: SOYAECRZXFE (gives 800 men)

Ranking is number of worlds completed (maximum 3), and then least men used (total).
Formula should be "number of worlds conquered"*1000 - "men used".
If you actually need more than 1000 men to complete the worlds you deserve the penalty.

The amounts of men given should be enough for everyone to be able to complete the worlds. (A very good score is about 20-25 men used per island for world 2.)

Note: A world is completed when all islands are conquered.

All the way back in 2008! Doesn't time fly. I remember that one well, and also Battle Squadron at the same time which you similarly did well if I recall correctly. I'm sure both these games will come up again at some stage.

Voting is now over and it was certainly a better turnout this time round, so good job! This one was also much more decisive than last time...

1. Sensible Soccer - 28
2. Parasol Stars - 16
3. Datastorm - 15
4. Rainbow Islands - 14
5. Banshee - 13

Total votes: 14 - Total games voted for: 33

I can hear the groans from the non-footy fans from here - after Goal! and playing SWOS twice in the competition already, now its famous predecessor gets a run out in its v1.1 incarnation. Who needs to go to the trouble of having a kickabout on a wet and cold Sunday morning now?
