Looking for a manual

Hi,

Looking at learning Blitz Basic.

I've installed v2.1, updated it, installed BSS and killed it. Got absolutely no idea what I've done wrong, there's no installer that I can find so I've had to just copy stuff manually. It was working fine right until I installed the "extras" disk and then BSS which is when it stopped compiling the example sources that come with it.

Complained of a missing library - just gave a number - so I tried running the build lib program thing and it guru'd and reset so I gave up. Almost deleted the lot.

Any suggestions? Is there an installer? Is there a manual?

...not sure if you're trying this on a real Amiga or emulation?

A month or so ago I created a ClassicWB Lite 3.1 .HDF with Blitz Basic 2.1 (installed from the CD version) for a member here.

The file is still on the hosting site I uploaded to... You've got a PM

Hey Zeb

The original Blitz 2.1 manual is available in handy HTML format here, and in AmigaGuide format (from which the HTML version was made I think) here.

Best bet at this stage might be to simply start again using the Ultimate Blitz CD here and the fixed installer here.
