Jerky mouse while loading heavy tools

Hi, I use a configuration like of a A1200 4MB + FPU with cycle-exact turned on, and when I load a heavy program with Workbench the mouse moves not smoothly until it finally executes.

If I remember well, my A500 and A2000 years ago had smooth mouse movement under these circumstances.

This is normal? My computer is a 2.2 GHz Pentium Dual Core. A bit outdated.

It can be normal.
