AmigaOS 4.1FE Mediator Sound Card Options

Is there any sound card that is supported in OS 4.1 FE that works in 3.9 on a Mediator?
FM801 and SB128 seem to depend on Elbox's PCI.library and the GFX card memory. The ESS Solo-1 that everyone mentions for OS 4.1 support, I haven't read anyone actually using this on a Mediator and it doesn't seem to have 3.9 support.

There are drivers like this, SB128 driver for OS4.1
http://os4depot.net/index.php?functi...o/sb128ahi.lha

And this listing:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?functi...t=driver/audio

But I'm assuming all this is for NG motherboards like SAM, Pegasos and later.

This is the only solution that I know of:

Yes I have seen that article and it doesn't make any sense. Other than to say it doesn't work but what it allows you to do is pass Paula audio from the Soundblaster Line-in to Line-out.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to add some info in case people stumble on this. There does not appear to be any PCI cards which work on both os 3.9 and 4.1 but zorro sound cards do work (if you can find one). I have just installed a toccata and can confirm that it works very well with os 4.1.
