Reluctantly I thought I'd give it a go this evening and predictably I haven't done very well, but at least playing in this format is more accessible than a full-blown race we had previously. I may very well try again however - I did have all the aids on which probably doesn't help me speed-wise.

The good news is we've now got enough entrants to form the group stage after this round, meaning at least 12 will qualify rather than 8 and we'll play all five games in this tournament as advertised.
The bad news is that even with Capehorn's 100,000 'bonus' for only completing one track so far, he's still not far behind me... |

Absolutely insane how competitive these times are. Unless a lot of new people who are not as good at this game suddenly submit scores, I haven't got a prayer of qualifying.
