New kickstarter campaign - Masters of Pixel Art

Hi everybody.

I just recently discovered a new kickstarter campaign called The Masters of Pixel Art.
I´ts a book about demoscene artwork, and it seems to be focusing on the Amiga scene.

I know there has been a lot of Amiga related kickstart campaigns recently, and especially books,
but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I would like to back this but the shipping cost is the same as the book itself.

I would back this but i only pay for things when i believe i am getting value for money. £16 to post a small book to the UK is taking the piss frankly when it can be done for less than half of that (probably a third). Not backing unless they sort it out.

The shipping cost within Sweden is very high too, but i think it's worth it anyway.

Not a bad book, but some of those logos are a bit up their own behind, and a good number of pictures has palettes that I find questionable (no, I know I couldn't do it better myself) same-y and washed out. This is ofc a matter of personal taste and all would improve if they were photographed from a crt.

More serious objections: Does not include "Madman ZZ" and nothing from James(Jim) Sachs.

The last time I paid £30 for a book were in my student days when they were on the obligatory reading list and Blackwells had me over a barrel.

I am split between interpreting this as:
- You do not read books.
or:
- All the books your read, you stole from your local bookstore.
or:
- You only read books which are cheaper than £30.

Ha! It's option B - I'm known locally as the Book Store Bandit. Why pay anything at all when you have a mask and shotgun?
