Cannot get my head around WinUAE.

I've tried countless videos, tutorials but cannot wrap around formatting the flash card, portioning and getting a nice looking system. I end up with DF:0 ???? shown or a normal looking workbench.

Could someone maybe get on teamviewer and guide me? I have all the things needed to transfer to my real Amiga 1200 but this has been baffling me for over a year and I cannot find anyone in real to do it for me.

I really don't know where else to ask for help at this point and my A1200 is gathering dust..

[ Show youtube player ] I've tried following this video but I do not get the screen at 15:10 mark or anything like it, showing the "work" folder. I am stumped, annoyed and ready to give up. Or what program is giving that nice colourful background and look and not the blank colour at the start.

What I think is funny is in most videos people select a file THEN click OK. Just double click a file and you won't have to click "OK". It'll be accepted. I enjoyed hearing both accents. Wink!
